Sawmill

Conveyor lines transfer the assorted logs to the two debarking machines  VK8000 of Valon Kone company (Finland). After that, the logs are transferred to the sawing line EWD (Germany). At the first stage, the machine creates double flat-faced cants that are then turned 90° and moved to the next machine which forms square unedged timber.

Then the central part of the timber is cut to centre and boards using the EWD FR 12 saw bank. The maximum sawing depth in the operating mode using one arbor saw is 130 mm, the maximum speed is 150 m/min. The forest industry complex uses logs with the diameter from 10 to 46 cm.

The maximum diameter that can be used is 55 cm. The lumber yield of the logs is 50-53%. The sawmill enables to process about 800,000 m3 of logs per year.
